Jennifer Joey McCallon, East Bay Realtor. ® Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I earned my real estate license in New York State in 2003, where I worked in Property Management and Leasing in Brooklyn. I developed a passion for investing and intelligent finance and earned my real estate license in California in 2012 and upgraded my license in 2016 to Broker status. I also trained as an archivist and worked in both corporate archives and public health policy until 2005. I have an MA in History from San Francisco State University and recently published a book on Residential Architecture in The East Bay with Arcadia Publishing.

Joey rules. I was lucky and someone recommended her. I didn't have to dig through Yelp and pray good reviews weren't bought with Amazon gift cards. This review was bought with incredible service, invaluable advice, and psychological coaching through the nightmare that is Bay Area real estate.
This was my first home-buying experience, and though the market is rough, Joey made it tolerable if not pleasant. Even after close, Joey is kind enough to help me through the quagmire of Oakland homeownership. A year ago I didn't know anything about sewer laterals and sidewalk permits, heck I still don't, you probably don't, you need Joey!
